Each week, we gather in a supportive, nurturing circle to:
Calm your anxious mind and body with simple, somatic practices
Talk honestly about the hidden stressors of motherhood & Life
Tend to the part of you that’s burnt out, anxious, or running on empty
Learn tools for grounding, boundary setting, and emotional regulation
Feel supported by other mothers - no masks, no pressure
Reclaim your identity beyond motherhood, with love
This is a space where meltdowns, messiness, and tender truths are welcome. Come exactly as you are - even if you’re still figuring out who that is.
This circle blends therapeutic and embodied approaches designed to support mothers in real life, including:
Polyvagal Theory: Learn to soothe your nervous system on hard days
Somatic Therapy: Grounding tools to calm overwhelm in the moment
Mindfulness & Self-Compassion: Replace inner criticism with care
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Befriend the anxious, exhausted parts of you
Emotion-Focused Therapy (AEDP): Process emotion in safe, healing ways
Transpersonal Psychology: Reconnect with your soul and self-worth
This might be for you if:
You’re a mother of young children (ages 0-11)
You’re living with anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion
You miss feeling grounded, present, and in your body
You crave a space that’s just for you, not your kids or partner
You want support that honours your emotions and lived experience
You’re tired of trying /or p to be fine and ready for real connection
This group is trauma-informed and all mothering identities - biological, adoptive, solo, partnered, queer - are welcome.
12 weekly sessions in person in Nelson, BC
90 minute gatherings in a cozy, private space
Each session includes: grounding practice, therapeutic theme, and sharing circle
Simple, optional self care practices offered between sessions
Small group (max 8 mothers) to ensure safety, connection, and depth
Facilitated by a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor experienced in anxiety, maternal mental health, and somatic care

You are worthy of the care you give so freely to others.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to carry this alone.
Together, we remember: That being held allows us to hold others better. That tending to yourself is not selfish - it’s sacred.
That you can be both a devoted mother and a whole woman.
