Mothers’ Circle

A Guided Journey of Therapeutic Practices for Anxiety, Overwhelm & Self Care

A 7 week, in person group in Nelson, BC for mothers ready to ease anxiety, soften overwhelm, and come home to themselves ~ in connection with others who truly understand.

Together we’ll explore simple somatic practices, breathwork, mindfulness, and nervous-system tools to calm the body, process emotions, and reconnect with the parts of yourself in and beyond motherhood ~ all within a warm, safe, and confidential circle where mothers can share openly and feel heard and supported.

Fridays, April 24 - June 5, 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Investment: $332. for the 7 weeks

Spaces are limited to 8 mothers to ensure a safe and supportive circle.

Many mothers arrive here feeling like they’re holding everything together for everyone else ~ while quietly running on empty themselves.

You love your children more than words ~ and yet, part of you is overwhelmed.


Stretched thin. Tired in a way that sleep doesn’t always fix.

Motherhood is beautiful, yes.


And it can also be demanding, isolating, and often invisible.


You’re holding so much, all the time - physically, emotionally, mentally.

And somewhere in the constant giving… it's easy to find yourself feeling

overwhelmed and disconnected from yourself.

It’s time to reconnect with the part of you that’s been quietly waiting.

You don’t need to push through.
You don’t need to figure it out alone.


And you’re not a bad mom for feeling this way.

This circle is a space to exhale.
To feel seen.
To come back to yourself.

What this is

This is not a parenting class.
This is nervous system and soul care for you,

the mother behind the role.

Each week, we gather in a supportive, nurturing circle to:

  • Calm your anxious mind and body with simple, somatic practices

  • Talk honestly about the hidden stressors & joys of motherhood & Life

  • Tend to the part of you that’s burnt out, anxious, or running on empty

  • Learn tools for grounding, boundary setting, and emotional regulation

  • Feel supported by other mothers - no masks, no pressure

  • Reconnect with the parts of yourself that exist beyond the role of motherhood.

This is a space where meltdowns, messiness, and tender truths are welcome.
Come exactly as you are - even if you’re still figuring out who that is.

What it’s built on

This circle blends therapeutic and embodied approaches designed to support mothers in real life, including:

  • Polyvagal Theory, Qi Gong: Learn to soothe your nervous system on hard days

  • Somatic Therapy & Breathwork: Grounding tools to calm overwhelm in the moment

  • Mindfulness & Self-Compassion: Replace inner criticism with care

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Befriend the anxious, exhausted parts of you

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (AEDP): Process emotion in safe, healing ways

  • Transpersonal Psychology: Reconnect with your soul and self-worth

Who it’s for

This might be for you if:

  • You’re a mother & living with anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion

  • You miss feeling grounded, present, and in your body

  • You crave a space that’s just for you, not your kids or partner

  • You want support that honours your emotions and lived experience

  • You’re tired of trying / or pretending to be fine and ready for real connection

    *This group is trauma-informed and
all mothering identities - biological, adoptive, solo, partnered, queer - are welcome.

How it works

A spacious 2.5 hour gathering that allows time for grounding practices, teaching and guided practice on a theme, meaningful sharing, and integration ~ with a short break for a snack or tea so you can stay nourished and comfortable.

  • 8 weekly sessions in person, held in our cozy private office in Nelson, BC

  • Each session includes: grounding practices, therapeutic theme, and sharing circle

  • A short break will be included, and you’re welcome to bring a snack or tea if you’d like

  • Simple, optional self care practices offered for home integration between sessions

  • Small group (max 8 mothers) to ensure safety, connection, and depth

  • Facilitated by a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor experienced in anxiety, maternal mental health, and somatic care
