Co-Creator & Transformational Facilitator of

LoveAlive Transformative Arts & Therapy

I’m continually moved by the moments

when something shifts - when a client reconnects

with their core self, sees through an old story, or feels

a deeper truth land in their body.

These glimpses of clarity and inner knowing are

often the beginning of lasting change.

My work is about helping people come home to themselves - to their innate capacity for healing, growth, and meaningful connection - while developing practical ways of creating empowered, sustainable new patterns. I believe transformation is possible for all of us - not by becoming someone new, but by reclaiming who we truly are.

My Practice

As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and Relationship & Communication Educator, I support individuals - often Highly Sensitive Women and Couples - in healing emotional patterns that impact wellbeing and intimacy. I often work with anxiety, trauma, and depression, as well as the deeper dynamics of reactivity, self-worth, communication, and ruptures of trust.

For over a decade, I’ve helped clients move from overwhelm and disconnection to greater emotional fluency, authenticity, and intimacy. My approach is both deeply empathic and gently direct - creating space for insight while guiding experiential processes that support real change. Whether you're navigating personal challenges or seeking to enrich your relationships, I’m here to support your path toward clarity, connection, and resilience.

My practice integrates evidence-based, spiritually attuned therapy rooted in Transpersonal, Relational, Somatic, Experiential, Cognitive, and Emotionally-Focused Psychology. It is enriched by modern science, ancient wisdom, and the transformative nature of the arts. I hold deep respect for each person’s unique journey and the ways we are woven together through nature, relationship, and community.

A consistent theme in my work is that trauma disconnects us - from our bodies, our emotions, and our sense of belonging. My mission is to help people rediscover the wholeness that was never truly lost.

Education & Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Emily Carr University with a minor in Social Practice & Community Engagement, a Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology, and an Advanced Certificate in Transformative Justice, with training in Nonviolent Communication and mediation. I’m also a certified Traditional Qi Gong Teacher, which continues to deepen the somatic foundation of my work.

For over 20 years, I’ve led therapeutic workshops, healing circles, and inclusive arts-based programs across BC. My offerings - including Empowering Communication, Revitalizing Relationships, and Compass of Clarity - have served diverse communities, from youth and women’s groups to those navigating trauma, disability, or recovery. Collaborating in organizations such as Empower Health, Johnson’s Landing Retreat Center, MOSAIC,

and the David Suzuki Foundation.

My Roots

My path has been shaped by lifelong sensitivity, a deep relationship with nature, and a call to healing - both personal and collective. Early challenges with trauma and depression sparked a spiritual search for

wholeness, justice, and purpose.

My learning has been deeply nourished by creative artistry, spiritual traditions, sacred ceremony, and a quiet connection to Source through nature. Motherhood, and blended family life have been profound teachers - with the journey of raising my now-grown children among my greatest sources of growth and joy.

Together with my beloved and Co-Creator in LoveAlive, Vince Wishart, I’m grateful to call the wilds of the Kootenays home, where we support others on the path of healing and transformation.

My Offering

My Counselling work is an integration of my professional training, lived experience, and deep reverence for each person’s inner spark - their capacity to heal, grow & thrive. It’s grounded in presence, attuned care, and a commitment to creating space where transformation can truly take root.

I know the courage it takes to face what hurts and the beauty that unfolds when we begin living in alignment with our deeper truth. It’s a joy and honour to support people on this path of coming home to themselves and creating fulfilling lives rooted in clarity, connection, meaning and joy.
